How Iceotherm Works!

IceOtherm works by applying both heat and cold simultaneously to the point of chronic pain creating maximum stimulation and overwhelming the nerves in the area to block out the pain.

IceOtherm's patented dual treatment head has an outer collar that reaches heat levels up to 50 degrees celsius while the cold inner tile can be as cold as 5 degrees Celsius. This simultaneous hot and cold output is known as the "Thermal Grill Effect" and has been known to scientists for decades. Now IceOtherm has harnessed this Thermal Grill anomaly in an anti-pain treatment device that when applied to localized areas of pain, confuses the neuro-pathways and interrupts the pain messages going to the brain for hours.

In addition, 4 Light Emiting Diodes (2 blue, 2 red) are engineered into in the small applicator head to add additional, point specific sensory stimulation. The combination of these competing stimuli distracts the brain from the sensation of pain.
